KNIFE FRIENDLY WOOD – Durable enough to sustain the blade of a knife but soft enough to avoid blunting it makes the woods we choose top of the list for knife friendly wood, and an ideal cutting board material. As with all wood cutting boards, some knife marks will be present after use but regular conditioning every 3-4 weeks will mellow the marks, brilliantly preserve the rich color, and prevent the board from drying out. Pair with our Board Conditioner (sold separately) to extend the life of your board.
